Position: Manager / Senior Manager Valuations
Location: Gurugram, India

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Valuation professional to join our dynamic team based in Gurugram. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in conducting Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) and impairment testing, business valuations in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP. This role requires strong knowledge of valuation concepts, analytical capabilities, client management skills, and the ability to mentor and lead junior professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement:
    Interface directly with clients to understand valuation objectives, present findings, and address any queries or feedback in a clear and professional manner.
  • Valuation Execution:
    Lead and execute comprehensive valuation assignments for businesses and intangible assets using complex methodologies within the client timelines. Having experience in execution of complex instruments valuation including application of Black Scholes Model, Monte Carlo Simulation and other Option pricing models will be advantageous.
  • PPA and Impairment Analysis:
    Perform complex PPA and impairment testing analyses in compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Report Preparation:
    Draft high-quality valuation reports, clearly articulating key assumptions, methodologies, findings, and conclusions.
  • Team Leadership:
    Mentor and guide junior analysts, reviewing their work to ensure technical accuracy and high standards of delivery. Lead the team to professional and technical growth.
  • Process Enhancement:
    Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal valuation process, templates, and best practices to enhance overall efficiency and accuracy.

Key Competencies

  • Education: CA, CFA, MBA (Finance), or an equivalent qualification
  • Experience: 8-10 years in valuation, with a strong focus on Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) and Impairment Testing analysis
  • Team: Experience of handling team with multiple projects.
  • Technical Skills:
    Deep understanding of valuation methodologies and financial modelling. Advanced proficiency in MS Office and other relevant financial tools. Working knowledge of various databases such as Capital IQ etc.
  • Regulatory Expertise:
    Solid knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and other international financial reporting standards.
  • Communication and Presentation:
    Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex valuation concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Analytical Acumen:
    High level of attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to analyse and interpret financial data accurately.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hands-on experience in conducting complex securities valuations, preparing high-quality deliverables, and working with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) and 409A valuations with a high degree of technical accuracy.

  • Prepare detailed valuation models, reports, and presentations in compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory standards.

  • Perform financial statement analysis, cash flow modelling, and market research to support valuation conclusions.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand key business drivers and valuation requirements.

  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices in valuation.

  • Support business development by contributing to proposals, thought leadership, and

    client discussions.

Requirements

  • Education: CA, CFA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent professional qualification.

  • Experience: 3–5 years of strong valuation experience with specific focus on PPA

    and 409A valuations.

  • Strong knowledge of valuation techniques: DCF, Market, and Cost approaches.

  • Solid understanding of accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP/Ind-AS) and regulatory

    frameworks.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling.

  • Excellent communication, report-writing, and presentation skills.

  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability


Closed Position

Location: Gurugram

Experience:

  • Working knowledge on financial statements and ratio analysis, valuation concepts including the income, market and asset approach, discount rates, discounts, and premiums, etc.
  • Hands-on experience of working on financial and forecasting models

Core Responsibilities:

  • Utilize industry-standard valuation methodologies, such as discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable analysis, and market multiples, to determine the fair value of intangible assets and financial instruments
  • Gather and analyze financial statements, market data, and relevant economic factors to assess and perform the valuation
  • Demonstrate the ability to plan, schedule, and manage multiple projects
  • Perform various financial modeling, and report writing w.r.t project scope and requirements
  • Participate in client conference calls and technical discussions internally
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of valuation models, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy of valuation

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum 12-24 months of valuation experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate with the team, seniors, and clients; and
  • Excellent knowledge in MS Office
